Tribal India Health Foundation's
Public Health and Preventive Medicine Elective Program
The Tribal India Health Foundation’s new 4-week public health and preventive medicine elective program provides public health and medical students in the United States a unique opportunity to observe clinical and community-based healthcare systems catering to tribal populations in India. Students will rotate between two tribal health initiatives under the supervision of local doctors and will spend all four weeks studying and experiencing primary care and public health issues in each area.
